How the Star-Spangled Banner trancended American culture?

1. I'm not being rude to you, ok.? Transcend means *"to go beyond." The Star- Spangled Banner is a poem by Francis Scott Key that he turned into a song. I'm not sure, as it relates to culture, or anything really, how a poem/song can transcend anything. Sorry!
